We are looking for a part-time grant writer to identify and secure foundation, corporate, state and federal grants.  Translate vision, mission and strategic plans into fundable proposals.  Manage multiple projects meeting deadlines.  Demonstrate understanding of image formats as well as excellent persuasive writing skills and grammar.  Experience in grant writing and the not-for profit industry is preferred.  Successful candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in communications/liberal arts; be familiar with social service and mental health programs; have a proven record of success; and be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.  Compensation commensurate with experience and substantiation of past success.
