Direct Care Positions

Monitor resident clients ages 8-18 as part of a treatment team.  Plan, organize and implement experiences to meet client emotional disturbance treatment needs, some with chemical dependency disorders as well.  Complete required paperwork, training, and meetings.  Assure a safe and therapeutic environment.  Paid training provided!  Part-time position, benefit ineligible, start on an “on-call” or as needed basis as we fill full-time from within!  Excellent experience for launching a career in social work, counseling, criminal justice, or human services!   Must be able to perform entire PAARR on male clients and female.  Currently enrolled college students majoring in related field preferred.   Must have a HS diploma/equivalent, a valid driver's license, safe driving record, pass criminal background screening; age 21 or over.  Experience and/or knowledge of recovery/chemical dependency treatment highly preferred.

Summer Teaching Assistant

Cuyahoga County

Maple Heights site still hiring!  Help with infants, toddlers, preschool, or school age.  Provide care, education and a safe environment for the children we serve. Also, help plan and implement appropriate lesson plans and activities to care for and educate the children. Permanent opportunities also available!  Mornings and/or afternoons!  Must be age 18 or over with a H.S. Diploma or equivalent, experience working with young children and an Associate’s degree in early childhood/related field preferred.  Other sites not hiring at present.

Day Care Teaching Assistant (part-time)

Be a permanent, reliable part of the weekdays for infants, toddlers, preschool, pre-kindergarten or school age children.  Provide care, education and a safe environment for the children we serve. Family Enrichment Mentor

Empower at risk families to thrive beyond their current circumstances.  Work as your schedule permits (15-30 hours/week, part-time).  Work in the family home and/or community to teach and advocate using a holistic, strengths-based model that builds upon your creativity and strong sense of public service.  Paid training, excellent supervision and opportunity to advance to full time mentor case manager!  Ability to speak Spanish a strong plus!  Preferred qualifications include: Experience working with children, high risk populations, adolescents, and/or special needs populations. Requires a HS diploma/GED, valid Ohio driver’s license, safe driving record and reliable transportation and proof of insurance, age 21 or over.

Youth Enrichment Mentor

Empower unruly and/or delinquent youth to thrive beyond their current circumstances as your schedule permits (15-30 hours/week, part-time).  Share your knowledge about adolescence, problem solving, behavior modification, educational attainment, job readiness, managing daily routines and acquiring other life skills. Work in the youth’s home teaching and advocating for them using a holistic, strengths-based model using your creativity and strong sense of public service.
