Work a split-shift on a part-time basis to provide care and safety for school-age children at Stepstone Academy in downtown Cleveland before and after school hours. May coordinate, plan, and implement developmentally appropriate activities. Maintains activity schedule and keeps appropriate records. Ensure cleanliness and safety. Communicates with staff and care givers. Assures any training hours are completed. Driving may be required depending on program needs. Successful candidates will be personally motivated to ensure the academic success of each student through a "What-Ever-It-Takes" attitude and commitment to producing results! They will be willing to work beyond "normal job duties" to ensure the overall success of Stepstone Academy with strong character, passion for excellence, and commitment to being a model leader for students. Requirements: Approved early childhood vocational program certificate of completion, high School Diploma/equivalent, valid driver's license, safe driving record, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance, age of 18 years or older. Provide care and safety for infants, toddlers and/or school-age children one night/week (about 3.5 hours) for up to 14 weeks between mid-September to mid-December. Coordinate, plan, and implement developmentally appropriate activities. Maintain activity schedule and keep appropriate records. Ensure cleanliness, safety and communicate with staff, parents and/or care-givers. Must have H.S. Diploma or equivalent, reliable transportation, pass background screening and be age 18 or older. Approximate hours are 4:30pm – 8pm with option to return for same in Spring.
Part time (3 Hours on Tuesdays). Excellent opportunity to earn a few extra dollars as the holidays approach! Watch children for parents attending a two hour parenting education session on Tuesdays in Lorain. Work about three hours between 4:30PM and 8:30PM for 14 weeks between 9/11th through early to mid-December (depending on location).
